TBS Tavern

TBS Tavern is a local San Diego fresh restaurant concept and bar, offering Tacos, Meatballs, Sandwiches and Bar Bites, all using slow cooked meats by San Diego restaurateur Scott Slater of the famous Slater’s 50/50 restaurant chain. I worked with Scott and provided art direction to develop his vision and his brand new concept.

The owner being an avid baseball and LA Dodger fan, I designed a unique typographic logo that would serve as an homage to the design of baseball team logos and also work as a stand alone symbol. The hand crafted nature of the logo tie into the custom hand made menu as well as serve a hip throwback to this worthy cool drinking establishment.
